Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

Terry Sater   The funeral for Mr Terry M. Sater, 35, of LaPorte, In will be at 1 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev Andy Martin officiating.

He died Tuesday Nov 28, 2000 at 1 a.m. at his home.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m until the service Saturday. Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery.

He was born July 8, 1965, in Columbus, Ohio, to Nolan and Shirley (Van Bibber) Sater, and had lived in the LaPorte area for 21 years coming from Illinois.

Mr Sater was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church and Teamsters Local 135 of Michigan City, a truck driver for LaPorte Transit Co. for 14 years and was a US Army veteran serving in Saudi Arabia.

On April 8, 2000, in Rolling Prairie, he married Connie Hudson, who survives.

Also surviving are one step-daughter, Ashley Brown at home: on stepson, Brandon Brown at home, his mother of Rolling Prairie; one sister, Kristin Busfield of Rolling Prairie; one brother, Randy of Bartlett, Ill. and one grandfather, Everette of Logan, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father and three grandparents.

Eddy, Robert C., 72, of LaPorte, passed away May 30, 2000. Services 1 p.m. Sunday at
Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, Rolling Prairie, Ind.

                                                                         Daniel Lenig          1934 - 2002
  67, of 0112 W. Powell Dr., LaPorte, died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at 9:30 a.m. at his home.

  He was born Nov. 4, 1934, in LaPorte, to Daniel K. and Ethel M. (Fissgus) Lenig, and had lived most of his life in the Rolling Prairie area.

  Mr. Lenig retired in 2000 as a material handler with Sullair Corp. after 27 years. Prior to that he had worked at Codding-Peterson Barber Shop for one year and opened his own shop in LaPorte for two years.

  He was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, a former trustee of the church and a 1953 graduate of Rolling Prairie High School. He was a member of Rolling Prairie Masonic Lodge,

  Scottish Rite of South Bend, Rolling Prairie Gleaners, Rolling Prairie Cemetery Board, past member of the Rolling Prairie Lions Club, retired member of the Kankakee Volunteer Fire Department after 28 years of         service and was past president of the LaPorte County Extension Board. He had served as a director on the LaPorte County Fair Board and was a 4-H leader for many years.

  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

  On March 21, 1959, in Rolling Prairie, he married June McVay, who survives.

  Also surviving are two daughters, Julie Phillips of Rolling Prairie and Tamara Webber of Lafayette; two sons, Douglas of Rolling Prairie and Scott of LaPorte; nine grandchildren; one sister, Grace Siford of Rolling       Prairie; and two brothers, Arthur of Rolling Prairie and Charles of LaPorte.

  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James.

  The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church with Revs. Andy Martin and David Tripp officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home,           where memorial services will be held by the Rolling Prairie Masonic Lodge at 7 p.m. and the Kankakee Township Volunteer Fire Department at 7:15 p.m.; and Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.     Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery.

                                                          Naida Hunt

                                                      1909 - 2002

  The funeral for Mrs. Naida J. Hunt, 93, of 7320E CR-400N, Rolling Prairie, will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Haverstock Funeral Home with Rev. David Tripp officiating.

  She died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002, at 1:50 a.m. at her home.

  Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in Wills Township Baptist Cemetery, Rolling Prairie.

  Memorial contributions may be made to VNA Hospice or Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church.

  She was born June 5, 1909, in Lincoln Township, Ind., to Leroy T. and Blanche (Pearson) Smith, and had lived in LaPorte County all her life.

  Mrs. Hunt was a homemaker and a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women's Society of the church, and LaPorte Area Porcelain  Arts.

  On May 10, 1937, in Kingsbury, she married Walter E. Hunt, who died Dec. 23, 1975.

  Also preceding her in death were her parents and three great-grandchildren.

  Surviving are two daughters, Myrna Everill and Evelin Hamilton, both of Rolling Prairie; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
